BM Group was founded in 1954 as a mechanical workshop dedicated to the production of components for scientific instrumentation. From the beginning, the company built its identity
around precision manufacturing, technical reliability, and a strong engineering culture.
Over time, BM Group evolved in response to increasingly complex market requirements. In 1990, the company expanded its capabilities with the opening of a sheet metal manufacturing plant. In 2000, BM Group acquired RadioSystem, an electronics company specialized in PCB and electronic component manufacturing since 1979. In 2016, assembly and testing activities were moved to a dedicated new location to support more complex system-level projects.
In 2021, all operations were consolidated into a single integrated site in Filago, near Bergamo. The facility covers a 14,000 m² area, with 7,000 m² of covered production space. This centralized industrial footprint enables faster coordination, stronger process control, shorter lead times, and reduced multisite operational risk.
Today, BM Group operates as an integrated manufacturing partner for regulated and high technology markets, combining heritage, engineering expertise, advanced production capabilities, and long-term customer commitment.
